What is Together In Education?

Harris Teeter’s Together In Education program is a fundraising program for schools (public or private- preschool through 12th grade) in our communities.

When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice.

Schools use the money as they see fit on anything from basic supplies to band equipment or computers.

How can I link my VIC Card
to Town Creek?

It's easy! Simply give the cashier your VIC Card and the school's Together In Education number (8103) during checkout.

That is it! This one time sign up process must take place each school year. The school of your choice is linked to your VIC card until May 31. You can link your VIC card to up to five schools and Harris Teeter will evenly distribute funds to the schools. Look for special promotions where you can earn even more money for your school.

What if I don't have a VIC
Card, but would like to sign
up for one?

Just click here to fill out an online application for a VIC Card. It's free and easy to do. Soon after completing the application, you will receive your FREE FAMILY VIC PACK, which will include one wallet-sized card and two keyring cards. Use the number located on the back of the cards as well as our school code 8103 to sign up for the Together In Education program.

 What items qualify?

When you purchase Harris Teeter Brand products, Harris Teeter Brand, H.T. Traders, Harris Teeter Naturals, Harris Teeter Farmers Market, Hunter Farms, Top Care, More Value, Highland Crest, yourpet, Harris Teeter yourbaby and Harris Teeter yourtot, a percentage of those purchase dollars goes back to your school. However, random weighted or bulk items in produce, meat (except poultry), seafood, deli-bakery, or prepared foods within these brands are not included in the program.
