9/06/12 > Cub Scout Sign-up
TCES will host a Cub Scout sign-up Thursday, Sept. 6th at 6:00. All boys in grades 1-5 met with the Cub Scout rep on Tuesday to hear all about the scouting program. Parents can bring parents to the school tonight to get more information and register their child.
8/08/12 > Welcome Ms. Scott
Ms. Dawn Scott was appointed by the Brunswick County Board of Education August 7, 2012. Ms. Scott recently graduated from UNCW with a Master's Degree in School Administration and is licensed in Curriculum, Instruction, and Supervision. Ms. Scott was a NC Principal Fellow and completed her semester internship at TCES this past school year. TCES Gators welcome Ms. Scott!
2/01/12 > 5th Grade STARBASE
Town Creek Elementary School 5th graders will participate in the STARBASE program from February 6th through February 10th. Students will participate in multiple classes that will teach the students physics concepts dealing with force and motion. Some of these concepts include the physics of flight, states of matter, rocket launching.

On Friday, February 10th STAREBASE will culminate with the students launching rockets made in their STARBASE classes. This will happen @ 10:00am on the back field. Anyone is welcomed to attend.

On January 31st, 2012 TCES will have grade level Award Assemblies. Times are as follows:

Kindergarten & 1st Grade - 8:30

2nd & 3rd Grades - 9:15

4th & 5th Grades - 10:00

Mrs. Pilon Classroom Awards - 2:00
8/25/10 > Party Time Package

The Child Nutrition Department is excited to introduce a "Party Time" package to parents and teachers for this school year. Attached is a copy of the application for the party time package.

FYI: The cupcakes (all individually packaged) have less than 30% calories from fat and less than 10% saturated fat; Ice Cream is low fat and beverages are either 100% Fruit Juice, Skim Milk or 1%milk--so it's a nice, healthy way to celebrate!
