Summer meal program enters last two weeks

Come and get it!
 
Thanks to a collaborative agreement between Brunswick Family Assistance and Brunswick County Schools, children through the age of 18 can receive breakfast and lunch daily at service sites throughout the county...FREE! 
 
Brunswick Family Assistance is sponsoring the summer food service program and will receive reimbursement from the USDA for program costs. Brunswick County Schools Child Nutrition Department will prepare the meals. 
 
Meals will be served for 8 weeks, Monday through Friday from June 18, 2012 through August 17, 2012.  Doors will open for breakfast from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the following service sites throughout Brunswick County:
 
School Sites:
Belville Elementary School
Lincoln Elementary School
Supply Elementary School
Union Elementary School
Waccamaw School
 
Community Sites:
Bible Baptist Church
Creative Solutions
Davis Chapel
Planet Fun Family Center
St. John's Missionary Baptist Church
The Kids Connections
Families are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity as underutilized sites may be forced to close. This program is open to every child through the age of 18 in Brunswick County.
