The Human Resources Division is dedicated to maximizing the potential of our students by recruiting and retaining quality people in our workforce in support of student success.

Our district employs more than 2,000 employees, including teachers, support staff, administrators, substitutes and classified staff, who provide services to nearly 12,000 students. The goal of the Human Resources Division is to provide excellent, accurate, timely and courteous services to all our employees.

We are dedicated to building a team of professionals who are passionate about the success of students, and who are willing to dedicate the necessary time and resources to meet the needs of a diverse school district.

We offer our employees learning opportunities through Mentor Programs, Professional Development, New Teacher Induction Program and Instructional Coaches.  All nineteen schools are accredited by the State of North Carolina and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
