Cougar Notes for the week of October 4th.
Rachel's Challenge is a school and community based program that tells the story and honors the life of Rachel Scott, a young woman whose life was tragically cut short at Columbine High School. The program was developed to, "inspire, equip, and empower every person to create a permanent positive culture change in their school, business and community by starting their own chain reaction of kindness and compassion."
South Brunswick Middle School will bring the program to students and the community on . The student assembly will take place at and we invite and encourage parents to attend the community event which will be held at in the SBMS Gym.
The deadline to turn in your Box Tops is rapidly approaching. Please remember to collect and bring in your Box Tops to your homeroom teacher by October 28th. The classroom with the most Box Tops will receive a special treat. So get clipping.
Boys Soccer Tryouts will occur Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th. The boys will ride an activity bus to Smithville Park for tryouts.
Parents will need to pick your son up at Smithville Park by 5:00. They must have a current physical on file with Mr. Garza or they will not be allowed to travel to Smithville Park for tryouts. They must also have cleats and shin guards because they will play practice games during tryouts
