Medications at school are administered only with the doctor's Medication Order form completed. The doctor completes the permission form telling the school the name of the medication, the time it is to be given and lists possible side effects. Most doctor's offices have the Brunswick County forms or you can come into school and pick one up. The family must bring the medication to school in the original labeled bottle. Please do not send medications on the bus as this is not safe.
Students in Grades 3-8 will take District Common Formative Assessments (DCFAs) from October 24-November 6 in English/Language Arts and Math. Students in Grades 5 and 8 will also be tested in Science. These are benchmark assessments taken 3 times each year to determine ongoing progress throughout the year. These assessments are taken online.
